A beautiful trekking until one of the highest summit of Bjelasnica. A physical trekking, you need a good map (and a compas of course) for this challenge. |
 To go at the departure of this hike, you have to go first to a little village called Lokve, passing by Zovik. Zovik is situated after Hadzici when you come from Sarajevo, you will have to make a left turn 4km after Hadzici, the road is difficult to see because not indicated, but 50m meters before the left turn, you will be able to see a bar called Zovik, this is your clue.

One time you reach Lokve, make a right turn just before the mosque, you have to continue 9 km using a "bad road", you will arrive to a large parking marked "Salihagina Bajta".

To go until Krvavac summit, you have to reach first the Stanari hut. To go there, you have to pass through a forest, several time you have choice between different way, but the way until Stanari is well indicated.

You will arrive above the forest, go until the Stanari hut, you will find a well marked path going in direction of Krvavac (south direction).

After 3km, you will reach a old and lost village called "Krosnje".

From this point, the difficulties begin : you should walk 200-300 meters in direction of west and find a way in order to summit the moutain by the south slope. You don't need to increase until the summit, after maybe 500m you will reach an intermediate summit around 1850m. This summit is marked by a big rock, from this point you can see a little valley at the south-west side.

You should go down into the valley in order to don't walk through the forest. After maybe 500m, passing around a big hole, you will find the red marks going until the summit. Sometimes the marks are not visible, but following a south-south east direction, you will reach the Krvavac summit.
